Printing for CTE (Corporate Thugz Ent.) 9-4-09

What's up? Lex here enjoying what I do for a living. :) I was contacted & asked to print some tees for "CTE" (Corporate Thugz Ent.) when Young Jeezy & nem came to town Friday 9-4-09. I had to meet at their tour buses to give them the tees that Friday evening before Young Jeezy's concert performance. I didn't get to meet Young Jeezy but it was still a cool experience to be able to print for them. Here are some photos of me printing their tees. Enjoy!

Velocity Sneaker Boutique in Charlotte, NC

Hello World! Lex here back in effect. I want to apologize for being away for so long as I'm sure you can understand that I've been on my GRIND. Yep, getting it in with some of the local stores here in Charlotte. There's one store in particular that I've been working with and having so much fun doing so. The name of the store is called Velocity Sneaker Boutique and it's located at 8925 J.M. Keynes Drive, Suite 3 Charlotte, NC 28262. Let me tell you the story of how I got linked up with this store. I was at a friend's cookout on a nice Sunday evening and one of my friends there had on a hot pair of kicks that I hadn't seen anywhere before. My first thought was that he had bought them online or upstate somewhere but when I asked him where he got them from he told me he had bought them from a new store called Velocity. I was like, "Really?" and he said, "Yeah..." and then went on explaining that it was a sneaker boutique & how nice of a store it is. Now if you really know me you'd know that I'm a major "SneakerHead". Yes, I'm a sneaker addict. I love to keep fresh new sneakers on my feet at all times. My ex-girlfriend used to tease me sometimes about how many sneakers & other types of shoes I had. She would compare my shoe collection to that of a woman's but it was all good. What can I say? I love kicks & I can afford to buy them so it's whatever ya know. Anyways, that Monday after the cookout I stopped by Velocity to see exactly what my friend was talking about and to pitch my cool idea to the owner. As I walked into the store I was immediately blown away by the hot rare selection of kicks that were on the shelves. I mean they had everything from Nike to Adidas to Saucony to Jordans to Chucks to PF Flyers to lots more. Even the ball cap selection in this store was major. The shades & G-Shock watch selections were also something to write home about. As I was standing there admiring the selection of kicks the owner walked towards me and asked, "If he could help me?" and I turned to him and said, "Sure, but if you're the owner I'd like to see if I can also help you..." He then gave a look like, "Hmmm... Okay". So then I pointed out some hot Nikes and said, "Check these kicks out right here... I like these kicks a lot but there's one thing that may prevent me from ever buying them" and he said, "What's that?" and I said, "I don't have anything to wear with them and I'd probably have a hard time finding something also". He then put his fist under his chin and said, "Hmmm, good point..." I then said, "But (pointing over to the wall rack to the right holding some tees) if I had the option to purchase a t-shirt from off that rack that would match these kicks then most likely I would buy these kicks plus that t-shirt and maybe even a few accessories to match." When I told him that his face lit up and he said, "You're absolutely right! That would make it so much more convenient for the customer from now on." After that we sat down and talked business and the rest is history. I tell you folks, whether you live here in the Charlotte area or not, I highly doubt that you'll find any other store around doing what Shirtgame and Velocity is doing with the Sneaker & T-shirt combos. If you're in town go ahead and check them out and pick up a fresh pair of sneakers with a matching tee and accessories if you like. We're definitely changing the game on how "SneakerHeads" do their sneaker shopping from now on!
